Yesterday marked the final day of the 2016 Catskill Chill Music Festival held at New Minglewood Campground in Lakewood, Pennsylvania. Among Sunday’s main stage performers was jamgrass outfit Greensky Bluegrass who welcomed pedal steel guitarist Roosevelt Collier at the end of their headlining appearance.

Sunday’s main stage action got underway with a set by Roosevelt Collier’s NY Get Down that featured members of Turkuaz and Dopapod. Following sets by Deep Banana Blackout and Dopapod, Greensky Bluegrass opened their main stage set with a cover of Prince’s “When Doves Cry.”

GSBG then offered a string of songs that were recorded for their new album Shouted, Written Down & Quoted, working up “Past My Prime,” “Living Over,” “Room Without A Roof,” and “Run Or Die” before digging into “In Control.” The set also featured album tracks “Miss September” and “Merely Avoiding” as well as a cover of the traditional standard “Pig In A Pen.” Collier emerged at the end of the set, adding his signature steel sound to “Will The Circle Be Unbroken?” and “Ain’t No Bread In The Breadbox” to close out the performance.
