Greensky Bluegrass Debuts ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’

Last night Greensky Bluegrass kicked off a three-night stand at Denver’s Ogden Theatre that runs through Saturday. Among the highlights was the Michigan-based band’s debut cover of “The Boys Are Back In Town” by Thin Lizzy.

Greensky Bluegrass not only started the show with “The Boys Are Back In Town,” they briefly reprised the cover within “Hit Parade Of Love” later in the first set. The second set saw the band joined by Billy Strings for both “I’d Probably Kill You” and “Little Maggie.” When Greensky came out for the encore, Anders Beck was sporting a “Let Anders Sing” t-shirt. Beck contributed vocals to “Second That Emotion” and later threw the shirt into the crowd. The run continues tonight.
