Gov’t Mule Hints At The Doors Mule-O-Ween

Last week we posted about the announcement of Gov’t Mule’s fall tour which includes a Halloween night performance at The Fox Theater in Oakland. From the looks at the poster below, it sure seems as if Gov’t Mule will pay tribute to The Doors this Mule-O-Ween.

The poster uses a font just like the iconic Doors logo and it wouldn’t surprise us that Warren Haynes and Co. would honor the band just months after keyboardist Ray Manzarek passed away. We’re also intrigued by the L.A. date (The Doors’ home city) on October 30th’s inclusion in the artwork as the poster says “2 Special Halloween Performances.” As soon as the theme is officially announced, we’ll update this post.
