No ‘Getaway’: Gorillaz Cancel 2023 U.S. Fall Tour
The shows were supposed to take place at stadiums in Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago and Boston.

Gorillaz‘s The Getaway tour, originally slated to his four U.S. stadiums in September 2023 has been scrapped. The band cited “scheduling conflicts and circumstances beyond our control” for canceling what would have been their biggest stateside shows to date in an email sent to ticketholders.
“We are gutted not to be able to perform for you this year,” wrote Gorillaz in a statement included within the email. “We were really looking forward to it and we hope to get back to you again as soon as we can. We love our Gorillaz family and we can’t wait to see you again soon.”
Refunds will be processed automatically via the point of purchase. The Getaway was scheduled to bring Gorillaz to Los Angeles, Austin, Chicago and Boston. , Lil Yachty and Remi Wolf were tapped as support for the group’s final U.S. shows promoting their 2023 studio album, Cracker Island.
