Goose Announces ‘Goosemas Livestream From Rockefeller Center’
Goose will continue their tradition of Goosemas performances virtually this year in the wake of the COVID pandemic. The Connecticut-based quintet will star in Goosemas Livestream From Rockefeller Center, which airs live from New York City’s Rockefeller Center this Friday, December 11 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on the JamBase Livestreams Calendar via Relix Magazine’s new Twitch channel.
While the broadcast is free, donations contributed by fans and collected by Plus 1 will go towards NIVA’s Save Our Stages campaign and Conscious Alliance. The National Independent Venue Association launched the Save Our Stages campaign to help independent music venues and promoters get through these rough times, while Conscious Alliance is “a nonprofit that connects a network of creatives to collect large-scale donations in order to combat hunger in historically underserved communities.” Head to Goosemas.com to donate now and get early access to the Goosemas Merch Store.
Goosemas 2021, which will originate from a location over seven stories high in the Manhattan skyline, will be the band’s seventh annual holiday event. “Goosemas 4 was my first gig playing with Goose so the annual show has a big place in my heart. I’m bummed we can’t be with our family and friends in person for this one, but the location is going to make it that much more exciting to stream,” explained Goose multi-instrumentalist Peter Anspach. “I’m beyond stoked we were able to pull that together in such a chaotic year. Big shout out to our whole team for always crushing it, Peter Shapiro, and thanks to Rockefeller Center for hosting what will be a very special night.”
