Goose initiated their 2026 Spring Tour at the ExploreAsheville.com Arena in Asheville, North Carolina on Friday. The jam quartet from Connecticut offered the live debut of their recently released single, “Good2B.”
Goose capped off a series of cryptic teases by releasing “Good2B” last week and confirming their new album BIG MODERN! The band launched the show in Asheville with a track that is bound for the new record, “MEDIA,” which they debuted in late 2024.
Substantial renderings of “Dustin Hoffman,” “Spirit Of The Dark Horse” and “Rockdale” followed. The first set came to a close with a nearly 23-minute rendition of “Elmeg The Wise.”
To launch set two, Goose went big on “Big Modern!” The jam topped “Elmeg” at 24.5 minutes. The band bounced into “Animal” next before returning to BIG MODERN! to premiere “Good2B.” The 80s-disco-funk-tinged number received a solid exploration as it entered Goose’s live catalog.
“Pancakes” and “Arise” wrapped the five-song second set. Goose sealed the show with their cover of Marvin Gaye/The Band's‘s “Don’t Do It.”
Goose continues their 2026 Spring Tour with a two-night stand in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday and Wednesday. Livestreams for the band’s spring tour are available via nugs.
