Goose made their debut at Chicago’s recently opened venue The Shalt Shed by performing a pair of concerts on April 14 and 15. The band appears to have enjoyed their visit last month as both shows, including a 31-minute soundcheck jam, were officially released to streaming platforms.

The live release opens with the April 14 performance that began with the “slow, melodic” arrangement of “All I Need.” The second set then started with a massive 33-minute “Hungersuite” excursion. The first show in Chicago ended with a cover of The Beatles’ enchanting “Tomorrow Never Knows.”

The live release continues with the April 15 show whose first set saw adventurous takes on “Echo of a Rose” and Spoon’s “Inside Out.” The second half was highlighted by +20-minute offerings of “Pancakes” and “Dripfield.” Night two’s encore started with an unfinished “White Lights” and ended with the ending of the “Madhuvan” that was left incomplete the night before.

Along with two sets and encores from each of the Chicago shows, Live At The Salt Shed also contains a 31-minute jam (with elements of “Eminence Front”) recorded during soundcheck.

Live At The Salt Shed is available on Spotify, Bandcamp and Apple Music as well via nugs.net. Stream below:
