Global Citizen Festival 2019 Announces Lineup

Queen + Adam Lambert, Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys, OneRepublic, H.E.R. and Carole King will headline New York City’s 2019 Global Citizen Festival. The annual event returns to New York City’s Central Park on September 28.

Global Citizen 2019 will also see performances by Jon Batiste and Stay Human, French Montana and Ben Platt. Hugh Jackman and Deborra-lee Furness will again co-host the festival, with additional co-hosts Matt Bomer, Rachel Brosnahan, Elvis Duran, Taraji P. Henson, Rami Malek, Bill Nye, Joy Reid and Forest Whitaker.

The festival will be live streamed on Twitter and YouTube. MSNBC and Comcast NBCUniversal will also present a live simulcast of Global Citizen on MSNBC and MSNBC.com and iHeartMedia will broadcast live from the event on over 150 radio stations in the United States and stream live on the iHeartRadio app.

Tickets to Global Citizen can be earned by downloading the app and taking designated actions to earn Festival Points. Actions include signing petitions, sending emails, making phone calls and challenging leaders to improve conditions surrounding women’s rights, plastic pollution, healthcare and human capital. Those who earn enough points will be entered in a random drawing for tickets. Learn more about earning tickets in the video below:
