George Porter Jr. Teams With Ian Neville, Ivan Neville & More For Art Neville Tribute In Los Angeles

The late Art Neville, who passed away on Monday, was honored with a special performance by his Meters’ band mate bassist George Porter Jr. on Wednesday night at The Mint in Los Angeles. Art’s son, Dumpstaphunk guitarist Ian Neville and nephew, Dumpstaphunk’s Ivan Neville were among those who participated in the tribute set.
Tony Hall of Dumpstaphunk took part in the late-night set as did George Porter Trio members keyboardist Mike Lemmler and drummer Terrence Houston according to Jambands.com’s report.
