Full Show Videos: Ween Plays Pair Of Concerts In San Francisco

Last month Ween held a pair of concerts at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. Complete audience-captured video footage of the recently reunited band’s shows on October 14 and 15 have surfaced.

Guitarists Aaron “Gene Ween” Freeman and Mickey “Dean Ween” Melchiondo keyboardist Glenn McClelland, drummer Claude Coleman, Jr. and bassist Dave Dreiwitz opened the BGCA run with “Did You See Me?” and mixed in classics like “Take Me Away,” “Spinal Meningitis (Got Me Down),” “Doctor Rock,” “Piss Up a Rope” and “Ocean Man” during the 30-song performance. Opening night also saw the fifth-ever live rendition of the Pure Guava song “I Play It Off Legit” and Deaner and Dreiwitz swap instruments during the “Don’t Laugh (I Love You)” encore. Deaner and Gener sat on stools and played acoustics at the start of the second show. “Birthday Boy,” “Chocolate Town,” “Tried and True,” “Joppa Road,” “The Mollusk” and the rarely played “Kim Smoltz” were given the acoustic treatment. Later in the set Ween offered other rarities such as “How High Can You Fly?” and “Israel” along with staples like “Buckingham Green,” “Voodoo Lady,” “You Fucked Up” and the set closing “Tender Situation.” Here’s the complete October 15 show at BGCA:
