Full Show Video: Mike Gordon Performs In Washington DC

By Andy Kahn Dec 3, 2016 11:01 am PST

This week Mike Gordon brought his solo band to Washington D.C. for a performance at the Lincoln Theatre. Video footage of the complete two set show from Tuesday night has surfaced.

The Phish bassist backed on his current tour by a lineup of guitarist Scott Murawski, percussionist Craig Myers, keyboardist Robert Walter and drummer John Kimock. The first set at the Lincoln opened with “Voices,” followed by “The Field” by Murawski’s band Max Creek. The Mike Gordon & Leo Kottke tune “The Grid” came next, followed by Phish’s “Waking Up Dead.” The first half ended with “Check Your Pepper and “Jumping.”

“Face” began the second set, trailed by a rendition of Phish’s “555.” Takes on “Different World” and Max Creek’s “Just A Rose” preceded a cover of Mac DeMarco’s “Let Her Go” which was debuted by the band last month. “Dig Further Down,” “Take It As It Comes” and “How Many People Are You” closed the second set. Phish’s Gordon-penned “Meat” filled the encore slot with a reprise of “Check Your Pepper.”

The complete concert was shot on lo-fi GoPro video, paired with audio captured on Neumann microphones, and shared by Nathan Evans. Watch and listen below:
