Full Show Video: Holly Bowling Debuts New Original In Atlanta

Pianist Holly Bowling performed a concert last night at Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta. In addition to her usual mix of instrumental covers of Grateful Dead and Phish songs, Bowling also incorporated a new original composition within Tuesday’s show.

Bowling weaved between Grateful Dead and Phish classics to start Tuesday’s concert, opening with “China Cat Sunflower” > “Billy Breathes” and “Bird Song” > “It’s Ice.” Next came the first performance of Holly’s new original entitled “Proxima B.” Phish’s “AC/DC Bag” and the Dead staple “I Know You Rider” closed out the first half.

Holly opened the second set with the Grateful Dead’s “Lost Sailor” and segued into Phish’s “A Songs I Heard The Ocean Sing” and “Dirt.” A pair of Dead classics, “Estimated Prophet” and “Saint Of Circumstance” wrapped up the second set. Duane Allman’s “Little Martha” kicked off Tuesday’s encore and Phish’s “Squirming Coil” brought an end to the evening’s performance.

Bowling shared video of her show last night in Atlanta on her Facebook page. Watch the footage below:
