Full Show Friday | Ween At Hangout 2011

When Ween performed at the 2011 Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama it wasn’t apparent at the time that the set would be among the last the band would play. Just seven months and 10 shows after their May 22, 2011 Hangout appearance the band would play their last notes together on New Year’s Eve at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium.

Ween’s 21-song Hangout set was loaded with many of their signature songs like “Buckingham Green,” “Spinal Meningitis (Got Me Down),” “Take Me Away” and “The Mollusk” along with the more rare “Did You See Me?,” “With My Own Bare Hands” and the David Bowie cover “Let’s Dance.” Watch the sweat drenched full set featuring guitarists Aaron “Gene Ween” Freeman and Mickey “Dean Ween” Melchiondo, drummer Claude Coleman, Jr., bassist Dave Dreiwitz and keyboardist Glenn McClelland courtesy of willsfc with the caveat that the capture of the webcast cast stream is not without glitches as there’s a number of stutters in both the audio and video, however it’s the only source of the performance out there.
