Full Show Audio: moe. Goes Acoustic For Boulder Encore

On Friday night moe. headlined the Boulder Theater in Boulder, Colorado, one day after joining Govt’ Mule and Blackberry Smoke at the nearby Red Rock Amphitheatre. Those who attended the show in Boulder were treated to a multi-song acoustic encore.

The concert opened with “Defrost” and the first set was filled with favorites including a sequence that began with “meat.” and progressed through “Tubing The River Styx,” “The Pit” and “Tailspin” before coming back to close the set with the end of “meat.” Set two began with a lengthy “Spine Of Dog” and featured plenty of additional doses of improvisation, especially during the closing run of “George,” “Buster” and the end of “Rebubula” which had been left unfinished at Red Rocks.

The encore saw moe. offer acoustic arrangements of “Blond Hair And Blue Eyes,” “Shoot First” “Blue Eyed Son” and “Blister In The Sun” before going back electric for the show closing “Sensory Deprivation Bank.” Taper marcus was in Boulder and posted his recording of the show which can be streamed here:
