Full Show Audio: Melvin Seals & JGB In Fall River

Last night, continued a Winter Tour at Narrows Center For The Arts in Fall River, Massachusetts. A crispy soundboard matrix recording of the Wednesday night performance has already surfaced on archive.org for our downloading and streaming pleasure.

The current version of the band features legendary keyboardist Melvin Seals joined by Cheryl Rucker, Shirley Starks, Peter Lavezzoli, Dave Hebert and John-Paul McLean. Wednesday’s show included takes on such Jerry Garcia Band live repertoire classics as “The Harder They Come,” “If I Had The World To Give,” “Run For The Roses,” “Cats Under The Stars” and “Russian Lullaby.” There’s also the famed “After Midnight” > “Eleanor Rigby” > “After Midnight” sequence Garcia was fond of performing in 1980.

Melvin Seals & JGB continue the tour tonight at Infinity Hall in Hartford.
