Full Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Lineup Announced

After weeks of teaser medleys, the full Hardly Strictly Bluegrass lineup has been revealed. Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Dawes, Built To Spill, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds, The Felice Brothers and The Lone Bellow will join the 50 previously revealed acts such as Emmylou Harris, Ryan Adams, Tweedy and Yo La Tengo at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco between October 3 and 5.

Conor Oberst has been tapped to curate the portion of the lineup dubbed “Conor Brings Friends For Friday” that will feature performances by Waxahatchee, The Good Life, Jonathan Wilson, Sharon Van Etten, Dawes and himself. We’re particularly excited to see the inclusion of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead on the lineup, who will make their Bay Area debut at the festival.

The free festival, which was founded and funded by Warren Hellman, who passed away in 2011, will present music across seven stages in Golden Gate Park’s Hellman Hollow, Marx & Lindley Meadows.
