Foxygen Announces New Album ‘Hang’ & Shares Single

Foxygen will release a new album Hang through the Jagjaguwar record label on January 20. The duo of Jonathan Rado and Sam France have shared a video for the LP’s lead single “Follow The Leader.”

Each of the eight tracks on Hang are supported by a 40+ piece symphony orchestra conducted by Spacebomb’s Trey Pollard who handled arrangements with Matthew E. White. Rado and France wrote and produced what amounts to their first proper studio LP and recorded it on all-analog equipment at Electro Vox Studios In Los Angeles.

The Flaming Lips’ Steven Drozd appears on the record as does Lemon Twigs members Brian D’Addario and Michael D’Addario. Foxygen last issued the double album …And Star Power in 2014. Watch the video for the Hang single “Follow The Leader” below:
