Foos Hint At Joan Jett Leading Nirvana For Rock Hall Induction

Tomorrow night Nirvana will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame and there’s been plenty of speculation about who drummer Dave Grohl, guitarist Pat Smear and bassist Krist Novoselic will perform with at the ceremony. A caption-less Instagram post from the Foo Fighters account hints that rocker Joan Jett will be part of the performance.

The picture above shows what appears to be Grohl’s drums, Novoselic’s bass, Smear’s guitar and Joan Jett’s familiar Melody Maker axe. Jett has performed with Grohl and the Foo Fighters a number of times in the past. Dave and Krist visit The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon tonight, so perhaps we’ll find out more. One thing we do know is that R.E.M. front man Michael Stipe will induct Nirvana into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.
