Foo Fighters Bust Out Pink Floyd Cover
By Scott Bernstein Sep 18, 2015 • 11:10 am PDT
Foo Fighters massive Sonic Highways World Tour is currently making its way down the West Coast with tonight the first of two performances at Anaheim’s Honda Center. On Wednesday night Dave Grohl & Co. played Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California near San Francisco, where they busted out a Pink Floyd cover for the first time on the now 69-show-old tour.
Towards the end of Foo Fighters’ 23-song performance at Shoreline the band dusted off “In The Flesh?” for the first time since February 1, 2014. Drummer Taylor Hawkins handled the vocals as he does for all of the group’s versions of the tune except the time they teamed up with Roger Waters on “In The Flesh?” for a 2011 visit to Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Foo Fighters debuted “In The Flesh?” early in the Wasting Light World Tour and played it at most shows on that run. However Wednesday’s performance was the song’s first on the current tour.
