The Floozies Unveil ‘Honeymoon Phase’ Featuring Ryan Zoidis

Kansas-based electronic duo The Floozies released the EP Granola Jones earlier this year, but aren’t finished unveiling new music in 2016. Today, the band has shared a catchy new song titled “Honeymoon Phase” featuring contributions from Lettuce saxophonist Ryan Zoidis and have premiered an accompanying video.
The Floozies consist of brothers Matt Hill (producer/guitar) and Mark Hill (drums). Matt and Mark enlisted Zoidis of Lettuce’s Shady Horns for their new track after collaborating with the saxophonist live at a late night gig in New Orleans during Jazz Fest. In the video for “Honeymoon Phase” we see a mix of live and behind-the-scenes footage as well as what appears to be home movies from the Hills’ early days. Watch:
