Flight Of The Conchords To Play Newport Folk Festival

Comedy duo Flight Of The Conchords are the latest act confirmed to play this year’s installment of the Newport Folk Festival. Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement will perform on Friday, July 22. The New Zealand-based act last performed in the U.S. back in 2013.

The 2016 Newport Folk Festival will take place at scenic Fort Adams State Park in Newport, Rhode Island July 22 – 24. Flight Of The Conchords join a list of previously confirmed Newport Folk acts that also includes Ray LaMontagne, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Raury, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Father John Misty, The Oh Hellos, Villagers and Joan Shelley. Many more acts will be revealed over the days and months to come.

While weekend passes and tickets to Saturday and Sunday at Newport Folk are sold out, Friday tickets are available via the festival’s website.
