Father John Misty Makes ‘Saturday Night Live’ Debut

Last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live featured two performances from Father John Misty. Josh Tillman and his big band played two songs off the forthcoming Pure Comedy studio album, which is due April 7.

Up first from Father John Misty was the groovy, horn-driven “Total Entertainment Forever,” a song that has caused a stir thanks to its opening lyric about “Bedding Taylor Swift every night inside the Oculus Rift.” After a wardrobe change, Tillman & Co. returned for the somber title track from “Pure Comedy.” Watch both songs below:
