Father John Misty will issue a new album God’s Favorite Customer on June 1 via Sub Pop and Bella Union. An expansive World Tour in support of the upcoming studio LP has been confirmed.

The 10-track God’s Favorite Customer quickly follows-up 2017’s Pure Comedy. The fourth Father John Misty album was produced by the project’s founder Josh Tillman with assistance from Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado, Dave Cerminara and Trevor Spencer. Jonathan Wilson, Tillman’s longtime collaborator (and Pure Comedy producer), as well as Haxan Cloak, Weyes Blood’s Natalie Mering and members of the Father John Misty touring band also contributed to the new album.

Father John Misty’s planned mix of festival appearances and headlining concerts begins in May in Europe. A return to the U.S. in mid-June starts with a show in Minneapolis on June 16 followed by a few additional dates that month. The tour continues in North America from mid-July to mid-August, resuming in again in mid-September and lasting to mid-October. FJM then heads back to Europe for shows lasting through November.

A pre-sale for the “best tickets” begins on Tuesday, May 8 [code: TILLMAN]. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, May 11.
