Watch Eric Clapton Perform ‘While My Guitar Gently Weeps’ With Jerry Douglas & Dedicate ‘Sam Hall’ To Jeff Beck

Eric Clapton joined dobro ace Jerry Douglas and Transatlantic Sessions for a cover of The Beatles’ “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” and more. The collaboration took place at the Transatlantic Sessions concert — a production performing traditional music from both sides of the Atlantic — in London on Saturday.
George Harrison wrote “While My Guitar Gently Weeps.” Eric Clapton played on the studio version appearing on The Beatles’ 1968 self-titled double LP or The White Album. In an Instagram post, Douglas called the Clapton sit-in a “dream come true” and also noted that he dedicated “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” to Jeff Beck and David Crosby.
