DVR Rewind | Iron & Wine and Ben Bridwell On Letterman

Last night Iron & Wine (Sam Beam) and Band of Horses’ Ben Bridwell made their television debut on the Late Show With David Letterman performing “No Way Out of Here” from their upcoming collaborative covers album, Sing Into My Mouth. The duo has also announced several additional shows in support of the LP which comes out July 17 through Black Cricket/Brown Records via Caroline. The newly added dates are the first non-festival headlining concerts scheduled by the longtime friends.

Beam and Bridwell will perform at several festivals this summer, including Newport Folk Festival, MoPop Festival and Osheaga. Watch them perform backed by the Paul Shaffer and The CBS Orchestra their take on “No Way Out of Here,” a song originally recorded in 1976 by Unicorn and covered by David Gilmour on his 1978 self-titled debut solo album.
