Duane Betts Reveals All-Star 2024 Horseshoe Festival Lineup: Steve Kimock, George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville & More

Duane Betts announced the lineup for the 2024 Horseshoe Music Festival including Steve Kimock, George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville and more. Presented in conjunction with nonprofit The Launch Pad Foundation, the event returns to Jackson, Wyoming at The Virginian Lodge over Labor Day Weekend August 30 – September 1.
Founded last year by Duane and his wife, designer Lisa Hadley Betts, the Horseshoe offers a “unique festival experience that celebrates art in music, fashion, culinary and wellness,” as per a press release. The festival sees an all-star cast performing in various configurations over the course of three themed nights — as well as after parties — with musical direction from Duane Betts and Eric Krasno.

Along with Kimock, Porter Jr. and Neville, Performers include Cody Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), Don Was (Bob Weir & Wolf Brothers), Jackie Greene (The Black Crowes, Phil Lesh & Friends), Jaime Wyatt (Outlaw Country Troubadour), Jason Crosby (Jackson Browne, Phil Lesh & Friends), Lamar Williams Jr. (Trouble No More, The New Mastersounds), Nicki Bluhm (Bob Weir, Phil Lesh & Friends) and more.
The Night 1 theme is Skulls & Peaches featuring music inspired by Grateful Dead and The Allman Brothers Band. Night 2 will celebrate Americana including a special tribute to Dickey Betts. Night 3 is the Soul of the South with numerous music styles represented including blues, gospel, country, and rock from Otis Redding to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
“I’m thrilled to be back in Jackson, a town that holds a very special place in my heart, for the second annual Horseshoe Music Festival,” Duane Betts stated. “I’m excited to have so many friends getting together to play the music we all love. I feel it’s only fitting to do a tribute to Dad as part of the Americana set this year. Honoring him and the music he pioneered will be healing for both myself and the fans who love him.”
