Drummer/Dog Owner Joe Russo Featured On NY1 News

Many of those who live in New York City and are Time Warner Cable subscribers start their day by watching cable network NY1’s morning news program. Those watching this morning were in for a surprise when drummer Joe Russo appeared on a segment. However Joe wasn’t discussing Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, RB&B, Icy Bridge or any of his other various projects.

Russo was featured in a report on the re-opening of a “Dog Beach” in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. Joe and his cuddly canine use the Dog Beach and the drummer shared, “It’s greatly appreciated, I’ll say that. They did a great job, everybody that was expecting it to be done next spring, next summer is really psyched, because it was hot, and this little one wanted to come everyday.”
