Donald Trump Calls Neil Young A Hypocrite

The saga regarding the controversy surrounding republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s supposed unauthorized use of Neil Young’s song “Rockin’ In The Free World” at Trump’s campaign announcement has taken another turn with the reality TV host taking a shot at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Famer. In a speech and follow up series of tweets, Trump called Young a “total hypocrite” and while sharing a picture of the two men together.
CBS This Morning reported Trump told an audience in Maryland Young had been in his office earlier this month, and produced photograohic evidence that the rocker was soliciting money for an “audio deal” -it’s unclear if Trump was referring to Young’s Pono music player or not. Young is a supporter of democratic candidate Bernie Sanders who used “Rockin’ In The Free World” with authorization at a recent event in Denver.
