The Disco Biscuits concluded their first trip to Texas in six years at Empire Garage & Control Room in Austin on Saturday, wrapping a two-night stand. The quartet broke out rarity “Neck Romancer” off their 2011 studio album, Otherwise Law Abiding Citizens, during the first set.
Bisco launched the concert with a massive rendition of the vintage “Aceetobee” that stretched to nearly 25-minutes. The 2023 debut of “Therapy” followed which flowed into “Another Plan Of Attack,” the latter off the quartet’s 2023 album Shocked!

The Biscuits then dusted off “Neck Romancer” for the first time since March 11, 2022 for a gap of 100 shows. Phantasy Tour stats stats clock 24 plays of the Otherwise Law Abiding Citizens cut since it debuted in 2010. A 15-minute “Photograph” followed before tDB finished up “Another Plan Of Attack” to close the set.
The well-jammed second frame got underway with a 10-minute jam into classic staple, “I-Man,” which nearly hit the 20-minute mark. The fully segued second set continued with “The Deal” ahead of 21-minute renditions of “Falling” and “Spacebirdmatingcall.” Bisco bookend the set with “I-Man.” The encore saw the band offering new song, “Buy The Time,” to conclude the Austin stint.
