The Dean Ween Group Announces New Album & Fall Tour

Ween guitarist Mickey “Dean Ween” Melchiondo’s band The Dean Ween Group has revealed details of a new album and upcoming Fall Tour. ATO Records is set to issue The Deaner Album on October 21, days after the band sets out on a tour with special guests Meat Puppets tapped to support.

Musicians recruited for the album include Meat Puppets’ guitarist Curt Kirkwood and drummer Chuck Treece, Funkadelic guitarist Mike Hampton and others. Deaner shared the first single from the new record, “Mercedes Benz,” which can be streamed here:

The Dean Ween Group will set out on a Fall Tour on October 18 at The Waiting Room in Omaha, Nebraska. The run of shows with the Meat Puppets includes additional stops throughout the month in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, Colorado, Wyoming and a final show on Halloween night at The Wilma in Missoula, Montana.
