Presented by the White Light Foundation and Fiddlehead Brewing Team Mastermind, the first annual Dead of Summer Charity Disc Golf Tournament is a go. Coinciding with the Dead of Summer Music Festival in Manchester, Vermont, the disc golf tournament takes place on-site Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14.
All proceeds from this year’s charity disc golf tournament will aid two local nonprofits, Neighbor to Neighbor and United Counseling Services’ new pediatric mental health PUCK Program.
Neighbor to Neighbor “is a non-profit organization that helps older, disabled, and other homebound residents of the Northshire area continue living independently in their own homes,” while the PUCK program “provides a safe alternative to the emergency department by providing appropriate treatment and care for children in crisis in a therapeutic setting,” as per a press release.

Saturday, June 14 kicks off the Dead of Summer Charity Disc Golf Tournament with a one round, 18-hole singles match. Sunday, June 15 gives discers a chance to pair up for a doubles competition.
Pre-registration is encouraged on both days as tee times are limited. All participants will receive a custom disc, swag bag and a shot at some great prizes. The top three finishers in both the men’s and women’s categories on Saturday will receive prizes. Top scorers for the recreational doubles round on Sunday will also be rewarded.
Additional ways to give include tee box sponsorships and raffle tickets throughout the weekend at Dead Of Summer Music Festival. Head here for more info. Click below for the festival lineup and more.
