Dawes Shares New Single ‘St. Augustine At Night’

Dawes premiered “St. Augustine At Night,” the second single from their upcoming Good Luck With Whatever studio album. Good Luck With Whatever is set for release on October 2 via Rounder Records.
The nine-track LP as recorded with acclaimed producer Dave Cobb at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A. Dawes’ follow up to 2018’s Passwords is described as a throwback to Dawes’ early days while “tapping into the veteran band’s intense musical connection more effectively than ever before” as per press materials.

“‘St. Augustine at Night’ is a song about one’s relationship to their hometown,” explained Dawes’ frontman Taylor Goldsmith in a statement, “but also is a song about the varying degrees in which we all watch our lives pass us by.” The song comes after the release of Good Luck With Whatever lead single “Who Do You Think You’re Talking To?”
