Dawes and Friends came to Jimmy Kimmel Live in Hollywood on Thursday. The Los Angeles-based band and an all-star cast performed The Beatles classic “With A Little Help From My Friends” in the style of Joe Cocker.

The Kimmel performance came in preview of the upcoming Dawes-led Concert For Altadena, a benefit supporting those affected by the Southern California wildfires. The show takes place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California on January 7.

Dawes co-founders Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith were both impacted by the Eaton fire, which destroyed both of the brothers’ home studios and damaged Taylor’s house he shares with his wife Mandy Moore. Griffin lost his entire home.

The all-star concert benefitting the Altadena Builds Back Foundation will see performances by Stephen Stills, Jackson Browne, Jenny Lewis, Aloe Blacc, Eric Krasno and others. The latter two musicians joined Dawes on Kimmel.

Also performing “With A Little Help From My Friends” with Dawes were vocalists Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig of Lucius along with Circles Around The Sun keyboardist Adam MacDougall. Watch the performance below:
