Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Announce Additional Riviera Maya Acts & Share ‘Dodo’ Video

CID Presents will host the second annual installment of Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Riviera Maya in Riviera Maya, Mexico January 12 – 14, 2018. Today, a group of additional artists have been added to the lineup for the all-inclusive destination event and organizers have shared professionally-shot video featuring a highlight of this year’s inaugural outing.

In addition to three full shows from Dave and Tim just feet away from the Caribbean Sea at Playa Azul at the event’s host resort The Barceló Maya, attendees can also witness sets from Brandi Carlile, Béla Fleck & Abigail Washburn and Joseph. Each of the newly-added acts will play a set to open each of the three nightly concerts. Festivalgoers can stay at one of five resorts including The Barceló Maya, The Hard Rock Hotel, Dreams Tulum, Banyan Tree Mayakoba and Rosewood Mayakoba (not all-inclusive).

The fully curated experience includes exclusive access to three nights of beachside performances, all-inclusive food and drink, premium hotel accommodations, shuttle service to and from Cancun International Airport and 24-hour concierge service. Guests can choose from a limited amount of remaining packages at five tropical resorts including the concert’s host resort, The Barcelo Maya. Attendees can spend their days lounging by the pool and beach or exploring the nearby historic towns of Tulum and Playa del Carmen. Organizers also revealed today daily on-site activities such as daily sunrise and morning yoga sessions, paddleboard/kayak rentals, surfing contests and more. Off-site adventures have also been announced including catamaran tours, zip-line &ATV tours, day trips to Tulum and Chichen Itza, journeys to Rio Secreto (an underground all water cave) and other options.

Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds performed three impressive concerts at the inaugural Riviera Maya event back in February. On February 24, the pair dusted off the long-lost original “Dodo” from Dave’s 2003 Some Devil LP. Matthews hadn’t performed “Dodo” with any of his projects since a Dave & Tim concert on December 11, 2010. Fans had been calling for it online and holding signs urging the return of “Dodo” ever since. Watch pro-shot footage of “Dodo” from Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Riviera Maya 2017:
