Dave Matthews Band frontman Dave Matthews shared a cover of Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth” on DMB’s social feeds last night. Matthews performed the song on piano and added some scats to his vocals.
Stephen Stills penned “For What It’s Worth,” which was originally released as a single by Buffalo Springfield in 1966. While Dave’s version was a debut for him, DMB has previously worked portions of the song into “Jimi Thing” as per DMB Almanac.
“Stay safe y’all,” Matthews said after his “For What It’s Worth” performance. “Look after each other … care about each other.”
