Dave Matthews Band released “Stand Up (For It)” to preview their forthcoming Live Trax Vol. 61. The archival recording was captured at Chula Vista, California’s Coors Amphitheatre on August 25, 2005.

DMB released their studio album Stand Up on May 10, 2005. The group — which at the time consisted of guitarist Dave Matthews, drummer Carter Beauford, bassist Stefan Lessard, saxophonist LeRoi Moore, fiddler Boyd Tinsley and keyboardist Butch Taylor — leaned heavily on material from the album for the 2005 concert in Chula Vista. “Stand Up (For It)” was the first song the band delivered from the album at Coors Amphitheatre, falling in the third song slot after opening with older material in “Pantala Naga Pampa”/”Rapunzel” and “One Sweet World.”
