Dave Matthews Band Serves Up More Bust Outs In Austin

On Tuesday night, the Dave Matthews Band concluded a run of three shows in Texas to start the group’s first tour since 2016. DMB dug deep into their repertoire this past weekend in The Woodlands and Dallas and continued the trend last night at the Austin360 Amphitheater in Austin.

Dave Matthews Band opened with the tour debut of “Squirm” off 2009’s Big Whiskey & The GrooGrux King. Next up was the evening’s biggest surprise, as the seven-piece busted out “Hello Again” for the first time since June 30, 2010. The year’s initial version of “Too Much” was followed by a run of “#41,” “What Would You Say” and “Samurai Cop (Oh Joy Begin).”

Last night’s 19-song main set included two additional tour debuts, “Rooftop” and “Drive In, Drive Out.” The latter was previously performed on July 9, 2016. DMB also worked in the second live versions of “She” and the title track from their forthcoming Come Tomorrow LP along with plenty of staples such as “Grey Street,” “Satellite” and “Crash Into Me.” The band ended the frame with the recently busted out “Stand Up (For It)” and treated fans to an encore of “Warehouse” and “Pantala Naga Pampa” > “Rapunzel.”

The tour continues on Saturday night in Atlanta.
