Dave Matthews Band & Preservation Hall Jazz Band Perform ‘That Girl Is You’ In Charlottesville

Dave Matthews Band shared pro-shot video featuring a collaboration with Preservation Hall Jazz Band on “That Girl Is You” from a late-2018 run in their hometown of Charlottesville. “That Girl Is You” took place in the middle of DMB’s set at the John Paul Jones Arena on December 14, 2018.

An official recording of DMB’s December 14, 2018 concert is available for those who purchase tickets to the group’s current summer tour. Pres Hall opened for the septet at both nights of the Charlottesville run and on December 14 reprised a collaboration on the Come Tomorrow track that went down at The Gorge in George, Washington on September 2. The two bands later performed “That Girl Is You” together at Jazz Fest in New Orleans earlier this month.
