Cover Alert | Andrew Bird Takes On The New Pornographers

Montreal charity the Yellow Bird Project has compiled a charitable covers album, Good People Rock, which includes Andrew Bird’s recording The New Pornographers’ track “The Fake Headlines.” Today, Pitchfork premiered a video of Bird’s rendition of the New Pornos tune.
Good People Rock is being issued by a new imprint of Arts & Crafts, Madic Records and includes recordings by Elvis Perkins, Whispertown, Dry the River and several others, as well as a digital bonus track by The Tallest Man On Earth. The album will be released both physically –vinyl –and digitally –MP3-320kbps, FLAC, Apple-Lossless –on April 16.
