Courtney Barnett Announces Free Show In NYC

Among the acts rained out of today’s canceled Governors Ball Music Festival at Randall’s Island Park in New York City was Courtney Barnett. The guitarist and her band have just announced a free concert taking place in NYC tonight to make up for the washed out festival appearance.

Barnett and band mates bassist Bones Sloane and drummer Dave Mudie will now play live at Rough Trade NYC in Brooklyn. Entrance to the free event will be granted on a first-come-first-served basis and doors are slated to open at 8:30 p.m.
