Courtney Barnett performed songs from her new album, Things Take Time, Take Time, at Amoeba Records Hollywood. The solo set for The Independent 88.5 FM also featured a cover of The Velvet Underground’s “I’ll Be Your Mirror,” and was followed by an interview with the radio station.

Barnett will release Things Take Time, Take Time tomorrow (Friday, November 12) via Mom+Pop Music/Marathon Artists. The session at the new Amoeba Records Hollywood location saw Barnett deliver acoustic renditions of the album tracks “Write A List Of Things To Look Forward To,” “Before You Gotta Go” and “Rae Street.” The guitarist tacked on her arrangement of “I’ll Be Your Mirror,” which she recorded for the all-star covers tribute album, I’ll Be Your Mirror: A Tribute To The Velvet Underground & Nico, that came out earlier this year.

After the session, Barnett discussed a number of topics with The Independent’s Marc “Mookie” Kaczor. Watch the solo performance and interview at Amoeba Records Hollywood below:
