Couch Tour Alert | Newport Folk Festival 2013 Webcast

Just a few hours ago this year’s installment of the famed Newport Folk Festival kicked off at Fort Adams State Park in beautiful Newport, RI. Those of us who can’t make it out to the fest are in luck as NPR.org is streaming a number of performances from the event this weekend.

Performances from many of the acts our own Jeffrey Greenblatt profiled in his Newport Preview will be broadcast along with sets from JamBase favorites Beck, The Avett Brothers, Jim James, Trombone Shorty and Andrew Bird.
