Couch Tour Alert | Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival

This weekend the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival returns to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, CA. If you can’t make it in person, organizers have revealed that they will be streaming participating artists from four stages this year.

In keeping to the spirit of the event, organizers will let each act make the decision about whether to participate in the free webcast. Starting at noon PT tomorrow the HSB webcast page will be updated with links to the broadcast. There will be three channels: (1) Banjo Stage, (2) Arrow Stage and (3) Star + Towers of Gold Stages (Star & Tower will be on the one channel since those stages’ schedules don’t conflict).

Organizers aim to update the schedule of confirmed artists on the HSB webcast page throughout the weekend. Among the acts set to play Hardly Strictly Bluegrass ’13 will be JamBase favorites The String Cheese Incident, Gogol Bordello, Moonalice, Bonnie Raitt, Justin Townes Earle,  Los Lobos, Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers featuring Edie Brickell and Trampled By Turtles.
