Guitarist Cory Wong shared pro-shot video of guest vocalist Antwaun Stanley leading a performance of the latter’s “Where Are We Now.” The footage was recorded on Thanksgiving weekend at First Avenue in Wong’s hometown of Minneapolis.

In addition to sharing the video of “Where Are We Now,” Wong posted a message on Instagram indicating that for the month of June he will donate all of his streaming royalties and livestreaming revenue to “organizations around the Twin Cities to help Black community organizations and other organizations who are providing support for [people of color].” Wong also shared a note written by Stanley in 2016 about “Where Are We Now,” which Wong said ring, “louder than ever right now”:

We’ve obviously experienced a wide range of intense emotions the past couple weeks as a country and as a people. Whether it’s been the election, civil rights and the integrity of our justice system, groups against one another, basic needs unmet, educational gaps, global unrest, fears of heightened bigotry, etc. it’s clear why many of us are concerned. I find it hard to describe exactly the state we’re currently in, but my hope is that with this song, we can create/continue effective dialogue [and] a love movement that would provide comfort in knowing that where we’re going is much better than where we’ve been.
