Jimmy Buffett‘s Coral Reefer Band will honor the late singer-songwriter this August with a series of three concerts in August. Dubbed “Keep The Party Going: A Tribute To Jimmy Buffett,” the shows will take place between August 1 and 4.
The Coral Reefer Band was Buffett’s longtime backing ensemble both on the road and in the studio. Members set to appear at the August concerts include guitarist Mac McAnally, steel drummer Robert Greenidge and singer Nadirah Shakoor as well as Scotty Emerick and Will Kimbrough, among others.

Jimmy Buffett died at age 76 on September 1, 2023. The famed singer-songwriter known for such hits as “Margaritaville” and “Cheeseburger In Paradise” as well as his devoted legion of “Parrotheads” fans passed due to an aggressive and rare form of skin cancer.
The Coral Reefer Band previously paid tribute to Buffett this past spring both at the all-star “Keep The Party Going: A Tribute To Jimmy Buffett” concert at Hollywood Bowl and at the 2024 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. A portion of proceeds from the August concerts will benefit Singing For Change, a non-profit charity Jimmy Buffett established in 1995.
The brief excursion as currently constructed begins on August 1 at The Wharf Amphitheatre in Orange Beach, Alabama. Next up is a performance at Cadence Bank Amphitheatre in Atlanta on August 2 before the Coral Reefer Band closes the short run at Cincinnati’s Riverbend Music Center.
General on-sales start this Friday, June 14 at 10 a.m. local time. Purchase Coral Reefer Band tickets through Ticketmaster.com.
