Conor Oberst Joins John Prine In Kansas City & Omaha

Conor Oberst joined John Prine on stage in Kansas City and in Omaha over the weekend. Oberst was the opening act Friday night at Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland in KC and again on Saturday night at the Orpheum Theater in his hometown of Omaha.

The collaborations began on Friday when Oberst returned to accompany Prine on “Way Down.” The pair also teamed up to duet on “All The Best.” Oberst was brought back out during the encore, assisting on the show-closing “Paradise.” Saturday’s hometown show featured Oberst sitting-in with Prine on the same three songs.
