Cold War Kids Release ‘1×1’ Single Featuring The Lumineers’ Wesley Schultz

Cold War Kids released a new single entitled “1×1.” The song features vocals from Wesley Schultz of The Lumineers.

“1×1” is a co-write with OneRepublic’s Brent Kutzle. “This song was inspired by the stories of child migrants separated from their families at the border,” CWK’s Nathan Willett said in a statement. “Now that we are all quarantined, it has taken on an extra meaning…One by one each of us are staying apart to help the whole of us.”

The tune sees Willett and Schultz trading lead vocals duties but coming together on the refrain. “1×1” arrived with a video directed by Vern Moen. Watch it below:
