On Saturday, Terrapin Crossroads hosted an event dubbed Bouncing Around The Park at the San Rafael, California venue’s outdoor space. Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh headlined with The Terrapin Family Band, while the day also featured a set from Phish tribute act Chum. Lesh joined the cover band for a rendition of the Phish original “Wolfman’s Brother.”

Phil Lesh performed “Wolfman’s Brother” on April 15, 1999 at the first of a series of “Phil & Phriends” shows featuring Trey Anastasio and Page McConnell. Lesh also played the tune during his first and only sit-in with Phish on September 17, 1999 at Shoreline. The bassist then added the song to his Phil & Friends repertoire for a handful of performances in the early ’00s.
