Chris Robinson Brotherhood Shares Animated ‘Forever As The Moon’ Video

The Chris Robinson Brotherhood released the full-length studio effort Anyway You Love, We Know How You Feel back in July. One of the standout tracks on the LP is “Forever As The Moon” and the band recently released an animated video for the song.

Chris and his band enlisted longtime associate Alan Forbes to draw and direct the video for “Forever As The Moon.” While Forbes has been contributing art to Robinson’s projects for decades, “Forever As The Moon” is the first video he’s ever directed. “We’ve never really done any kind of video stuff, so when the idea came — especially with a song like ‘Forever As The Moon,’ which has very expressive language and vivid imagery, I thought it would be pre-formed for Forbes,” Chris Robinson told Billboard. “On one sense he’s the real psychedelic heart beating the blood through the existential body of the CRB. He’s equally one of the engines of what we’re doing. We’re sympatico on a psychic level. So it was a natural fit.”
