A modified Chris Robinson Brotherhood will begin a European Tour tonight at Uebel und Gefährlich in Hamburg, Germany. Facing uncontrollable travel issues, the band announced tonight’s opener will be an acoustic trio performance.
A note from the band indicated that “due to unforeseen weather” bassist Jeff Hill and drummer Tony Leone are currently “stuck in Dublin.” Despite their rhythm section being in Ireland, the Chris Robinson Brotherhood adjusted their plans to make certain Friday’s show will go on.
Tonight’s CRB lineup will be just frontman/guitarist Chris Robinson, guitarist Neal Casal and keyboardist Adam MacDougall. The impromptu trio is expected to play one acoustic set.
The band’s tour continues on Saturday at The Paradiso in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
